I’d reeally love it if men would stop defining what a compliment is for women.
You might delude yourself into thinking that was a compliment.
Maybe you really think it’s a compliment.
But really don’t know what’s worse - you having to force yourself to call your gross ass…
I’d like it everyone would stop doing that. But yeah, we MEN are the most guilty party. Sorry guys :(
why are you still on my blog and why are you still talking
Oh whoops didn’t see your blog there, just saw the op
Ironically my post was ‘inspired’ by you including your shitty opinion on what a compliment is and ya’ll arguing with Caitlin about it.
Like fuck off and stop fucking talking over us with your ~everyone~ bullshit. Tell me one time you’ve seen someone “compliment” a man being sexually explicit and disrespectful and basically borderline sexual harassment to full on harassment and that man took offense and didnt like it and then had a bunch of women gang up on him about how he can’t accept a compliment. That it was a “nice compliment”.
Now triple this by 50 as that man’s frustration intensifies and the women start pulling the “you don’t have to yell and be rude just because you disagree with me.”
Lets add a bit of context and say this man can’t walk down the street without some woman hanging out her window commenting on his thighs and then calls him a gendered insult that has it’s own history of slighting and dismissing his anger because he can’t see that as a compliment either.
So quit it with the ~everyone~ bullshit. We are not talking about everyone. We’re talking about men harassing women and then have the fucking audacity to correct us by calling it ~compliments~.
